Let God Use Your Gifts To Bring Great Results!
The Craftsmen continue to make the items God directed them to do, including the ark of the covenant which would contain the ten commandments. It’s also the place where God would reside. So many of the items made had so much in detail and several items were covered in gold. I’m sure they were BEAUTIFUL!!
I wonder what Christians today would have said about these items then?
Perhaps they would have felt they weren’t humble enough and were too beautiful. That God would not be happy with how attractive they were for fear it would take the attention away from God.
It made me think of my gifts. I want to put a lot of effort in the gifts God has given me. I want my gift to be attractive, not so people think I’m awesome but so that people realize how awesome God is. I want to be humble about it, yes, but I don’t want to be mediocre about all God has given me. I definitely want God to be glorified through all I say and do.
What about your gifts? How much effort do you put into them? For whose Glory are you doing them?
Thank you Lord for the gifts you have given me. Use them to the fullest so lives are impacted for you.
