Can I Be Doing More?
All those who were gifted to build the Tabernacle were given instructions on exactly what to do. Contributions for materials and supplies were coming in from the people of Israel to the point where Moses had to tell them to stop giving. I have to laugh because how many churches have ever had to say to their congregation: “Slow down! Quit giving so much?”
The skilled workers began their tasks and did just as God commanded.
What are my gifts? Am I using them to the fullest for the Lord and the church? What are your gifts? Is God giving you instructions on what he would want you to do for him and the church?
I’m convinced, I should never get so lax or confident into thinking that I’m doing all I can for the Lord. I feel that’s a dangerous place. Instead, I surrender my life completely to the Lord and say, “Hear am I Lord, Send Me! Use me however you want.”
