How Did You Learn To Be So Good?
God says to Moses that he filled Bezalel with his Spirit so that he would have great wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and great craftsmanship in order to do all the detailed artistic designs commanded by God for the tent of meeting including all the accessories.
What a great reminder that our minds and our skills are all given by God through his Holy Spirit. We often want to take credit for our abilities because we argue that it is I who works hard, and studies hard, and practices and practices so I can improve. But even that, the drive and motivation to excel, is God given.
Be thankful for your skills and make sure God gets all the glory. Our skills and gifts are not so people recognize us but that they recognize the Lord.
What gifts and skills has God given you and are using them for God’s glory?
I’m thankful I can see, breathe, hear, memorize Scripture. I’m thankful I can preach and lives are impacted for Christ. I’m thankful for wisdom in helping me counsel someone in need. I’m thankful I can still do different exercises and run.
