Are You Willing To Make A Contribution?
God was ready to have the Israelites build a tabernacle and several accessories. This Tabernacle is where God would dwell and meet with the Israelites. Such a project would require a lot of materials and the only way it could be completed was if the Israelites would make contributions of the list of items needed. Those who would make the contribution would be from those whose hearts were moved to do so.
There are so many Ministries going on within the churches today. We may see value in them all but some touch our hearts more than others.
VBS is a huge Ministry and parents with kids may see this as REALLY important as compared to Ministry for the elderly. Again, they may see value for both but their hearts are moved more for VBS than the other Ministries.
What Ministry of all Ministries tug your heart more than the others? Perhaps God is calling you to make a contribution and it doesn’t have to be just a financial contribution. A lot of Ministries are looking for people willing to contribute their time. For example, nursery or Junior Church are always looking for volunteers to help. Sadly, people are more willing to give money versus their time because it’s EASIER.
How could you contribute to the ministries of the church? Pray and see if God would have you make a contribution of money or time to a Ministry of the church you deem as important and are thankful for. Blessings!
