Exodus Chapter 16
Here We Go Again!
The Israelites encounter a time with no food resulting in a lot of complaining vs trusting in the Lord as their provider. So God does a miracle and feeds them bread every morning. Every morning, He sends a dew like substance on the ground that is their bread for the morning. Then he sends quail in the evening for their meat.
They were instructed to collect food everyday except on the Sabbath, but not to worry because God would provide double the amount on the day prior of the Sabbath. Even with the simple instructions, the Israelites behaved with a lack of faith and with worry.
So here we go again! If they’re not complaining about one thing, then it’s another. At what point do we say, “Okay God, here’s my situation. Doesn’t look good so I am giving it to you and say, I trust you’ll help me with this given problem. Thank you I can give you everything and then trust you to intervene. I pray for your wisdom and trust you with the outcome.”
Again, what are you going through? Give it to the Lord and if He leads you to seek wisdom from others, then do so. But trust him! Worrying and Complaining doesn’t help.
