Exodus Chapter 15
Praises for the Victories!
When the Israelites experience victory over Egypt, they all sang a praise song to the Lord. It was very detailed and expressed a great deal of appreciation to the Lord. How many victories do we experience each day? How much effort is put into our praises to God? If any? How grateful and thankful are we to the Lord? Perhaps we should demonstrate that more often.
As they traveled on through the Wilderness of Shur, they went 3 days without water and they complained. Should they have? I would have! But, no, they shouldn’t have and neither should I. Such experiences should be seen as an opportunity to praise God for his upcoming miracle or answer to prayer. “God, I am without water and science says I can’t go another day without water and live. But, I trust you to take care of my needs through some kind of miracle.”
So what are you going through RIGHT NOW?!?!? Take it to God In Prayer and pray with Thanksgiving because you believe He will provide an answer and then be ready for a miracle, followed by MORE Praises and Thanksgiving!
