Esther Chapter 7
The Good Guys Always Win!
In Chapter 7, Haman’s life goes from being the King’s number one man to the Kings most hated man because of his evil plans that would have resulted in the death of Mordecai and Queen Esther along with all the Jews in the provinces.
The gallows that was intended by Haman to kill Mordecai, ended up being the very gallows that Haman was killed upon by the king.
Queen Esther, after a lot of prayer and fasting, was used by God to save the Jews.
Queen Esther and Mordecai were people of great integrity, godly people with morals, and were faithful to the Lord their God. They were the good guys and they won.
Let me expand a little. The final victories of Life are not found on this Earth but in heaven. There are days that Christians will be pursued with evil intent but God will protect them and give them victory on Earth from persecution. But as Christians we must be faithful to God and be men and women of integrity even when we face persecution that results in our death on Earth. Because great will be our reward in Heaven. The good guys still win.
So whose side are you on? Are you willing to serve the Lord with integrity when things are going great and when things are going horrible? Or not? Matthew 10:22 says, “And you be hated by all on account of the name of Jesus, but it is the one who endures to the end who will be saved.”
So, are you one of the Good Guys?
