Ephesians Chapter 4
Does What Comes Out Of Our Mouths Promote Unity Or Division?
We are instructed to not let any on wholesome talk come out of our mouths but only what is helpful for building others up. That which builds unity versus causing division.
We are instructed to live a life worthy of God’s calling on our lives. We are told to be humble and gentle. Be patient with others while showing love. And keep peace amongst one another.
Whether you have a relationship, or family that’s broken or your church body is broken, we can’t let bitterness, rage, anger, and unforgiveness rest in our heart. We must be willing to love and forgive each other as Christ God forgave us. And perhaps we’re so concerned about the “SINS”of others that we miss the sin in our own lives…Matthew 7:5.
Perhaps if I can humbly accept the fact that I’m a sinner (against God), then I won’t be so judgmental towards those who sinned against me.
Dear Lord, fill Me with Your Love so that the words that come out of my mouth are also filled with love.
