Ecclesiastes Chapter 3
There’s A Time For Everything.
King Solomon makes a long list of those things that fit the theme of “There’s a time for everything.” I’ll just mention a couple.
He said, “There’s a time to be Born and a time to Die.”
There are many who feel like Earth is all there is and even fear death. If we are in Christ, Heaven awaits us. Fear does not have to be a factor. May all that we say and do be done with eternity in mind. Lord, let all that I say and do be done for Your Glory. May I always keep in mind that heaven awaits me because of my relationship with Christ.
King Solomon also said, “There’s a time to Love and a time to Hate.” Really?!? God should be our role model because his nature is LOVE. That’s who he is, but he’s also a holy God and without sin. He has a hate for sin because it kills and destroys our soul. That’s why he sent Christ, to free us from the bondage of sin. We need this HATREDNESS towards sin so we are motivated to fight for a HOLY Life in Christ and repent and turn from sin.
