Deuteronomy Chapter 7
Be Faithful for God is Faithful.
God promises the Israelites that he will take them into the Promised Land and deliver 7 Nations larger than them, into their hands. And when he does, they are to destroy everyone and everything so that they are not enticed to follow their gods. They are not to be afraid for God will deliver them for he is faithful to his promise.
God loves us and He’s called us into a love relationship with him. He wants to use us to impact lives for the Kingdom. And when circumstances look scary and overwhelming, then good, because it’s those circumstances that God does great wonders to prove his power over all.
May we follow him with all of our hearts. But may we be careful not to follow the pleasures of this world and end up getting ensnared into relationships and behaviors that go against God and his word. Don’t even give the devil a little foothold because once you do that it becomes an easy slow process to get one sucked into what the world is doing. Be faithful to God for he will be faithful to you.
