Deuteronomy Chapter 31
Be Strong and Courageous!
Over the last 14 months, I have spoken at several churches and I’m astonished at how many of them are without a pastor. There seems to be difficulty in finding new pastors.
What impressed me about this chapter is how God already assigned Joshua to take Moses’s place as the new leader for Moses. Moses would soon die of old age and be replaced by Joshua. But God commissioned Joshua before the people so they’d know he is God’s chosen new leader and God tells Joshua to not fear or be dismayed but to be strong and courageous.
* My prayer is that God would soon provide pastors for the churches without one.
* My prayer is that God would bless the new ministry he has called me to and may I be strong and courageous and not fear and be dismayed. May I be faithful to the calling and Trust God.
* I pray that wherever I am, that God would use me to impact lives for the kingdom of heaven. That’s my prayer for each of you as well.
Be strong and courageous. Do not fear and do not be dismayed.
