Deuteronomy Chapter 25
Cheater!
God commanded that his people not cheat in business deals. Some had weights, for measuring produce, that were not accurate which resulted in others being cheated out. They had weights that either made the produce lighter than it was or heavier than it was depending upon if they were buying or selling.
God said such unjust transactions were an abomination to him. But those who were just and fair would live long.
How are we when dealing with others? Are we trying to be unjust so we benefit and they lose out? Or are we willing to be fair even if it hurts us? May we be fair and be just no matter who benefits the most.
