Deuteronomy Chapter 2
There’s Always Opportunity For Newness!
Moses is recapping the travels of Israel as they wandered into the wilderness for 40 years to fulfill God’s promise that all the men of war who rebelled against God, would die and not enter the Promised Land. But in the meantime, God is raising up new Men of war and putting fear into the hearts of people from surrounding cities. God is preparing them for the land he promised across the Jordan River.
God has a plan for our lives. May we be faithful to God. And if we mess up, God is able to forgive us and reestablish his plan for our lives. If we totally rebel, we may suffer consequences but God will always have a plan for newness in our lives and for ministry. God is always willing to use us and reuse us after a period of rebellion. All he wants from us is a broken and willing heart.
Is your heart broken before God – surrendered to his will?
Are you willing to be used by God?
- I don’t care what your past looks like, no matter how bad it is. God is looking at today. If you are broken before God and willing to be used by him, then get ready for an adventure where you will touch and impact lives for the kingdom.
