Acts Chapter 28
I Will Not Be Held Prisoner!
Paul, along with the 276 crewmen, were shipwrecked on an island called Malta. They were there for 3 months and while he was there as a prisoner, God used him to heal all the sick on the island. When they arrived to Rome, he preached and taught in the synagogues and at his rented home. He was a prisoner guarded by a soldier but had the freedom to share Christ.
We are all free people living with freedoms that other nations don’t have. But do we act as if we are prisoners of this world and use that as an excuse to not proclaim Christ? Paul was a prisoner but freely spoke the gospel. No matter what our life circumstances are, may we realize every situation is an opportunity to proclaim freedom to all sinners held captive by this world. Paul didn’t let life circumstances keep him from sharing Jesus. Neither should we!
