Acts Chapter 27
A Man of Faith and a Man of Integrity!
Paul traveled to Rome in order to go before Caesar. Though he was accused of being a criminal, he was respected by his guard and later became respected by all 276 men on the ship. After their third stop, Paul said they should go no further because the ship would be destroyed and they would lose their cargo. But they listened to the pilot of the ship versus Paul. And sure enough, hurricane winds came up and they threw over all their cargo and stopped eating in hopes of saving the food for later. They all, including Paul, thought they would die. But God spoke to Paul in a dream saying they would all live. But they would need to listen to Paul. By now the people respected Paul and saw him as a man of integrity, and also a man of faith.
We need to learn to put our faith and trust always in God. We’re not to put our faith in God’s creation. He may use people to fulfill his purpose, but our Faith must be in God.
Thank you Lord that we can trust you in all circumstances, even those that look totally IMPOSSIBLE!!!
