When The Going Gets Tough, Don’t Quit.
Paul has known for a very very long time that he would face trials and tribulations while in Jerusalem. But his attitude was, “This place needs the Salvation message of Jesus. I’m willing to both be bound and killed for the name of Jesus.”
I want that attitude! For many years I have felt that one day I would end up in prison because of my faith. Is it possible? As I look at our nation and where it is headed, yes, I feel it is possible. But not just for me but for many many Christians and even for those who oppose what our nation is wanting to promote. What would you do if you were told to quit witnessing in the name of Jesus or to quit speaking about sin because you’re hurting people’s feelings and not giving them the freedom to live the way they desire? What if you were told that if you didn’t stop you could be arrested and put in prison?
Would you then try and share the message of Jesus in secret? Would you pray for different techniques in order to keep getting the message out? Or would you quit?
When the going gets tough, don’t quit!
