Acts Chapter 19
Everyone Got To Hear The Word Of The Lord!
Paul, and 12 followers of Jesus, were sharing the message of Jesus over 2 years so that everyone in the province of Asia had heard the word of God. Once again, I am reminded that having goals can be great ideas providing they’re always subject to The Holy Spirits leading because you never know when God will shut the door on what we’re pursuing in order to open the door someplace else. But look at Paul and these 12 followers of Jesus. I don’t know if it was their goal to preach to everyone in the province of Asia, but if it was it was a great motivation for them to be persistent and to persevere through all the opposition they faced.
So set goals but realize God’s plans can change at any time and we are to be obedient to his leading.
If God allows me to open a Ministry in Corry, Pa., My goal would be to get the gospel message to every person living in Corry. To have that goal, and to stick to it, would help keep me on my toes and be persistent while persevering through any opposition.
