Where Are All The New Believers?
Paul is ministering to the cities he has been at already. He meets a young Christian named Timothy. He sees great potential in him and takes Timothy with him and Silas on their Ministry journey. As they traveled, the churches were strengthened in the faith and grew in numbers daily.
What’s missing in our churches today that many don’t see new believers often? Paul and Silas were intentional. It was so important to them to reach lost souls that they were intentionally active in reaching lost souls. Basically, they were doing what Jesus commanded that we all be doing. Honestly, I could be much more intentional than I really am. It’s been on my mind lately. I’m praying for God to help me share his love more intentionally, including the salvation message. It’d be great if I could share Jesus with an average number of people each month. Setting goals could help me be more intentional. We set goals for everything else: Sports, work, family, etc. Why can’t we set goals for the number of people we want to reach with the Gospel message?
