Isaiah Chapter 27. “In That Day!”
The prophet prophecies four things that will happen “In That Day.”
1. “In That Day” God will deliver Israel from their enemies.
2. “In That Day” God’s people will sing for how God has saved them and been a place of refuge.
3. “In That Day” God will cause Israel to bear much fruit because of the removal of their sins.
4. “In That Day” the fortified cities and the enemies of God will rise up and Worship the Lord.
Today is “That Day!”
Today, Christ is our deliverer and saves us from our enemies.
Today he has forgiven us of our sins which should drive us to praise him with all our hearts.
Today, He guards us and is that place of refuge. Are we drawing near to God in that place of refuge? Are we embracing his Word which gives us life?
Today, as we walk with Christ, we will bear fruit (Galatians 5:22-23). I once felt I was nothing but in Christ I become someone. I’m a child of God with value and purpose, filled with the Holy Spirit. I’m empowered to bear fruit and impact lives around me.
Today, I worship the Lord and Today, God is still calling people to himself. He wants to use us for that purpose.
