Psalms Chapter 123 and Chapter 124
God Gives Mercy And Victory.
In Psalms 123:1, the psalmist says, “I lift my eyes to the Lord, to you who sit enthroned in heaven.” The people look to the Lord for mercy because they have had to endure such great pain.
Psalms 124 says that had not the Lord been on our side we would have been defeated. So praise the Lord for his victory and remember that your help is in the maker of Heaven and Earth.
Don’t quit looking to the Lord even if you have had to endure pain for a long time. Get your spiritual house in order if need be. Seek him with all your heart for your Victory will come from the Lord. Who can stop him? Daily surrender Your Heart to him so that you’re pursuing his heart’s desires versus your heart’s desires.
