Everybody Else Is Doing It.” REALLY?
Once again we see King after King after King choosing to live a life that fulfills the desires of their flesh. People, who are men and women of God, continue to live like the rest of the world who are not following the Lord. It’s like they’re saying, “Hey, everybody else is doing it?”
It’s the same with our world today. We have Christian men and women living like those who are not following the Lord because it’s the “norm” .
I had a Christian woman contact me asking if I would marry her and her fiance. And they are both living together before marriage. Her response was, “Everybody else is doing it.” In reality, everybody else is NOT doing it.
Right and wrong is not determined based on what the majority are doing. God is constantly wanting to raise up men and women who will stand up for the truth and not give in to the world standards.
Are you one of those who justify your behavior by saying, “Everybody else is doing it,” or are you one of the few that God is raising up that says, “By the grace of God, I’m NOT doing it.”
Lord, help us all to live by your standards and not the standards of this world, Romans 12:1-2.
