2 Corinthians Chapter 6
Wow! Following Jesus Can Be Difficult.
Paul is a great role model for Christ. That’s my desire as well but it can be very difficult. Paul faced hardships, beatings, imprisonment, riots, 40 lashes, and faced death more than once but he always persevered.
He also gave warning to not be bound together with unbelievers. He’s not saying don’t be friends with unbelievers because that’s who we have to reach for Christ. But being bound with an unbeliever means their ways become your ways which results in an unholy life. Paul commands us that we must separate ourselves from these relationships so we don’t compromise our faith and become unholy!!!
How are your relationships? This is not a game! Which relationships are those you are praying for and you are impacting for the Lord because of your life and words representing Christ? But which ones are those that are pulling your heart away from the Lord and you find yourself compromising your faith practice? These relationships need to be severed and isolated from NOW!!!!!! Can You Do That? With Christ You Can!
