2 Corinthians Chapter 5
I Can’t Wait For My New Body.
This is one of my favorite chapters in the Bible because it talks of the new body that awaits those who follow Christ.
People spend a lot of money and time on Earth to take care of their bodies so it can last as long as possible. For some, little do they know, the greatest thing they can do is to give their lives to Christ and follow him. Because in doing so he gives us the Holy Spirit that changes our lives forever. It changes us so we look more like Jesus in the way we live, plus we are promised a new body in heaven for eternity.
The other thing I like about this chapter, we are challenged as followers of Christ, to take the message of Salvation to those who do not know Jesus. That’s our calling! It’s not a suggestion, it’s a calling and even a command. I look forward with excitement to get this message of Jesus to those who do not know him. How about you?
