What Weapons Are You Fighting With?
Paul was a man of humility and gentleness but also a man of boldness in presenting the Truth of the Lord. He spoke boldly to Christians who lived by the standards of this world versus living by God’s standards.
This is an ongoing battle today and the best approach is using the weapons of God because they have divine power to overcome anything this world offers. God’s weapons confront the sins of this world, yet the weapons are not like the weapons of the world. God’s greatest weapon is Love.
Am I using God’s weapons when facing a world not walking in Christ but walking according to the standards of this world? Is using God’s weapon of Love important to me? Or am I quick to condemn others with no desire whatsoever to reach out to them because they are “sinners”? May we pursue the lost and those not walking with the Lord prayerfully with the hope of seeing changed lives. Perhaps my life needs to change first.
