What Does Your Spiritual Environment Look Like? Very Spiritual? Or Not?
Josiah became king at age 8 and he did what was right in the eyes of the Lord.
At age 16 he began to seek the Lord very seriously and began making choices to provide a kingdom that promoted an environment that encouraged people to worship the Lord. He made sure he got rid of anything that would hinder his people from worshiping the true God.
May we be encouraged that teens, and even younger, can have such an impact on lives for the Lord.
Perhaps we should examine our own hearts. Are we seeking the Lord with all our heart and soul and providing an environment for our family that would promote and encourage each to pursue their relationship with the Lord? Are we leading the way for them?
Lord help me to be like this 16 year old and lead the way in promoting a relationship with you.
