Do We Need To Do A 180?
Manasseh became king at age 12 and reigned 55 years. He did evil in the eyes of the Lord. He even led Judah to worship false gods and practice evil.
God tried to speak to King Manasseh but he would not listen. So God allowed the king of Assyria to capture King Manasseh and take him to Babylon in hooks and chains. King Manasseh was humbled before God and he cried out to the Lord. God heard his cries and restored him as King in Judah. King Manasseh did a complete 180 and destroyed all the gods in Judah and ordered the people of Judah to worship the Lord only. He was a brand new person!
Do we need to do a 180 with our lives so that we are serving the Lord completely? Are we listening to the voice of God? King Manasseh refused to listen. Don’t let that be us. Don’t let that be me!
CHALLENGE: Sit quietly and focus on the Lord. Ask God if there’s something He is wanting you TO DO or QUIT DOING. Listen and then obey. God forgive me of my sins. Help me be obedient to your voice.
