I’m Supposed To Love And Care For Who?
Despite the strong opposition that Paul and his cohort faced (sufferings and persecution), they dared to share the Gospel to those in Thessalonica with the help of the Holy Spirit.
Where do we see the need for the gospel to be preached? Our homes? Our job place? Our friends? Our city? Where? Do you really know that the power of the Holy Spirit can help you do just that?
When we present the Gospel of Christ, it is to be done in truth and not with the motive to be a people pleaser. The motive is to preach God’s word in Truth and Love.
We are to take a sincere interest in those God puts before us. We are to love and care for them. Who has God put in your path? Perhaps it’s a person that you have become good friends with. Perhaps it is someone who clashes with your personality. Whoever it is, we are told to take a sincere interest in them, and in their lives. We are to love and care for them. We are to encourage them, comfort them, and also urge them into a relationship with Christ while living a life worthy of God’s calling.
We were never told it would be easy. So take the challenge. Try it and see what happens. And rely on the grace and Power of the Holy Spirit!
