1st Kings Chapter 4
How’s Church Going?
King Solomon, though he was King over all Israel and Judah, he had several officials that played a part in running the kingdom, each with their own responsibilities. As a result, his kingdom became great. He was respected by Kings from all nations. He was more wise than anyone and God used Solomon to teach and inspire many lives.
God has a kingdom also and he is over all and more wise than anyone. But he wishes to use us, his creation, to build this Kingdom. He has given each of us gifts that can be used. How is God using you and your gifts in and outside the church? He has a place specifically for you within the church, the body of Christ. So Pray and Seek the Lord on how he could use you.
Let me speak from a pastor’s perspective. There’s a great vision to reach lost souls in our cities. But if the workers are few, then the harvest will be hindered. Come join the team in your church and be one of the workers within the church and build the kingdom of God. We need each other.
