1st Kings Chapter 14
God Is Still Searching!
God had called King Jeroboam and Rehoboam to be Kings that would promote God and His commands. However, they both did evil in the eyes of the Lord. As a result, the nations followed false gods and practiced detestable sins. There was such a great moral decay amongst the people. God prophesied evil in the coming days because they were not faithful in following his word and his commands.
God is still searching today for faithful followers of Christ who will not compromise their faith for the sin practices of this world. We are surrounded by Churches all over our nation who are compromising God’s truth for a false truth. Many such sins are now being done in the name of Jesus. As a result, our nations are dying from moral decay. Nations are being led deeper and deeper into sin, and God’s name is not being glorified.
God is still searching for the faithful few who will not bow down to the moral and spiritual decay of our culture, but instead, will be one of the faithful few. Are you one of those faithful few?
