1st Chronicles Chapter 6
Hey! Let’s Do This Together!
The genealogies continue in this chapter. But what caught my attention was when it mentioned how King David appointed certain individuals who served as the worship leaders in the house of the Lord. Verse 33 says, “And these are those who served with their sons….”
I thought, what a blessing to have a father and son serving together for the Lord. I never had any sons, but what a proud moment to have had two daughters who love the Lord. We were able to promote Christ into their lives as they grew, whether it was music we listened to, going to church, going to Christian camps, praying together often, or just living out our faith in everyday situations. Yes, I failed at times, but God has been faithful in helping me grow as we prayed for growth for our children.
