1 Chronicles Chapter 9
Wow, God Gave Me Gifts!
We read how different people were assigned different tasks in and outside the Temple of God.
Some Levites were gatekeepers and guarded the area. Some guarded the treasuries and the chambers. Some had charge over several accessories in the temple. Some were in charge of food items. Some were singers. Etc.
As I read this, I was reminded of passages in the Bible that speak of how we are all gifted in some way to build up the church and glorify God.
1) Ephesians 4:12 Gifts are given “to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ….”
2) I Peter 4:10-11 “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: … in order that in everything God may be glorified …”
What are your gifts? And how is God using you to build up the church?
God use my gifts for your glory and to build up the people in the church. Amen!
